What is love?
Octavio Paz in his essay called dual speaks of eroticism, sex and love. These three aspects are discussed and treated in different cultures and have their foundations in the conception of the world since ancient times.
The author takes different theories to see love, sex and eroticism and invites us different stories to the form of examples to find a deeper meaning in their writing so that they fully understand what you mean. Such is the case of "Abelardo who called the story of his life: Story of My Calamities. His greatest calamity was also his greatest happiness: having found Heloise and be loved by her. For it was man she met the love; and it ceased to be: castrated ". This little story shows how peace unravels the mysteries of love and shows us that despite a number of feelings and emotions love is not susceptible to damage one of the biggest is time.
We get older and could not stop, "Youth is the time of love", of course it's possible to love in old age, love of old age is full of spirituality, experience, company and many more values, as would be nice to arrive Philemon and Baucis not asked for immortality, accepted every stage of their lives and die together asked for them is so important to live with taste every moment, every minute lengthening waiting with our loved one, enjoying the procession of conquest, living Double Flame "The original and primordial fire, sexuality, raises the red flame of eroticism and this, in turn, supports and raises another flame, blue and trembling: that of love. Lust and love: the double flame of life ".
